Huge win without Sexton. Always feels good to beat the barn.

Why were we without Sexton?  Great to read that we beat those booger eaters...   Applause E-Cred Applause E-Cred Applause E-Cred

As soon as the NCAA catches up with the FBI, Pearl is DONE.

Roll Tide!

A win that we really needed (and wanted)!  Auburn was ranked #6 in the RPI coming into the game (Bama was 47th), and that will help our tourney resume out a whole lot!

Strained abdomen.  Not sure how long he's out.

Awesome to give the Barn their first SEC loss and end their 14 game winning streak at the same time.   Applause E-Cred

Those were some sketchy ref calls, and Barn players are a bunch of floppers.

Petty had a huge game beyond the arc, and Jones, Ingram and others played well too.  Hall played with a wrist brace.

Petty 27 pts
Ingram 16 pts
Jones 11 pts

The news spread quickly through Coleman Coliseum. The absence of Collin Sexton was noticeable during warmups and the reason confirmed 20 minutes before tip.

Alabama would be without its injured leading scorer and the point spread quickly jumped to five.

John Petty, however, picked up the slack.

The freshman from Huntsville went off, shooting Alabama to a 76-71 upset that ended Auburn's 14-game winning streak. Petty scored 27 with eight 3 pointers.

Mrs 2 had minor surgery Monday and my daughter and SIL came to see about her tonight, so I missed the game. Very happy they won. With Sexton out and Hall limited, it took someone picking up the slack to win. Looks like Petty was that guy. Congrats to Bama on a great win.

Herb hits a big bucket to put us up by 5 and then fouls out.

These refs blow.

That has to be the worst call of all the horrible calls tonight.  I replayed that one 5 or 6 times.  Herb did not make any contact whatsoever, but the Auburn guy swatted him on the shoulder with his left hand as he went by.

Thanks hscoach. I noticed they are 4-2 in the SEC same as Kentucky. I see Fla. is 5-1 in SEC they must be strong this year. RTR!

No problem.  I think UF is pretty strong, according to announcers.  Now everyone in the SEC has a loss.
