How will New Orleans Saints' signing of Adrian Peterson affect Mark Ingram?
New Orleans coach Sean Payton's history suggests the Saints' new running back, three-time NFL rushing champ Adrian Peterson, will face a bigger adjustment than the team's incumbent top ball-carrier, former Alabama star Mark Ingram.

I don't think it'll bother Mark he will get his yards if allowed to play. RTR!

This reminds me of the New Orleans Saints of old, back in the 80's when Bum Phillips was coach.  He sold the farm to attract Earl Campbell, who turned out to be washed up.  Hope that's not the case here.

I'd be surprised if it wasn't. Has Peterson played an entire season without getting hurt?

Low risk move for the Saints. Ingram is still RB1. If Peterson can contribute, great. If not, they're only locked in for one year at three million.

i wish they would trade Mark. They don't  use him right. Mark has always been a guy who has to get into a rhythm. If you use him once or twice a ball game he is not your guy.

he would be good with the Texans, or maybe Miami.

The Saints appear to need an overhaul, mostly on defense. I agree that MI is not being used to his potential. They need a good running game to control clock and keep the D off the field. Saints' D is pretty dismal.
