Former NFL running back Trent Richardson is facing a misdemeanor domestic violence charge in Alabama.

Police in the Birmingham suburb of Hoover say the 26-year-old Richardson was jailed Friday with bond set at $1,000.

TR was one of my favorite Tide players. He had three very good years for us. Like most people, I thought he was a future All Pro NFL player. He has turned out to be a huge NFL bust and a total disappointment not only on the field but in his private life.

TR and Rolando McClain should wright a book about how to screw up a NFL career and lose millions of dollars.
