Yeah, but getting there yesterday almost led to insanity, especially with Obasohan missing two vital free throws when we were trying to put the game away, then fouling out.
I was disappointed when he fouled out and was concerned that we would let the game slip away, like we have done so many times in the past. As the game continued, I was elated to see that was not going to be the case this time. I really enjoyed watching Taylor dunking on people's heads during that critical time.
We have the makings of a pretty decent team if they can keep it up. Taylor dominated the paint yesterday, and we have Norris and others dropping bombs from behind the arc now.
I was very concerned when Obasohan fouled out with 5 minutes to play. However, we turned that negative into a positive. It should give the rest of the team confidence. We have been depending too much on Obasohan to close out games. We need the other guys to have the confidence to take the big shots and knock down clutch free throws when the game is on the line.
