This also was an NCAA test and not a Florida test.  Not sure why Florida didn't catch it earlier -- maybe they only test for illegal drugs. 

Sure the guy bulked up over a year's time.  It's not unusual for kids out of HS to bulk up once they get into a college strength and conditioning program.  I'm not sure what the norm is though.

Strange world we live in where a player using a legal OTC supplement is banned for a year but a player with illegal drug use keeps playing.   Huh?

From what I am hearing, he used the drug Ligandrol. I hear what some of you are saying that if it is sold over the counter there shouldn't be a problem using it but there is. The NCAA has ruled the use of it by players out so it isn't alright to use it, regardless of what people may think.

I hope lsu beats fla. I hate it for coach Mc. but if we win out and lsu has beaten fla. then we beat lsu we have the higher rank even over ole miss. JMHO. RTR!

Says who? Grier is the only one saying that, not Florida. I doubt it's OTC, plus he gained 43 pounds in a year, sounds more like a steroid-like substance or else a lot of peanut butter & jelly sandwiches.

I agree with MD on the massive weight gain. Per the NCAA all schools are furnished with a drug taboo list that should be given to the players. To gain that much weight and a coach doesn't notice and give him a drug test, I smell a rat in the Florida program and they got what they deserved. I think Florida knew and zipped their lips.
