Finebaum just mentioned that there are 24,000 unsold tickets for the NC/South Carolina game in Charlotte on Thursday. The stadium holds 74,000. Another sign that Spurrier has lost his mojo.

45,000 of the sold tickets probably went to SC.

UNC is a basketball school.

All of the yankees in Charlotte root for OSU, Mich, Penn State, etc..

It is also a Thursday night game.
 
If it were a Saturday game, it would sellout.

Columbia is closer to Charlotte (hour and 15 minutes) than Chapel Hill. Gamecock fans are apparently disillusioned.
