Well if this poll bunch wants to go on last year that is great. The past never takes you any further than you already are, so we can have a quiet time to start this year. I would rather be down there in the low % rank and then rise to the top as some say like cream or "CRIMSON." RTR!

Well,  I didn't read that linked article but I personally feel the power of the SEC is swinging back toward the east again.  I really think that Bama and Awbren will be the powerhouse teams in the west followed by LSU and ArKansas.  The Mississippi teams should be decent but nothing like they were last year early on.  aTm should fall somewhere between 4th and 7th of the west.  On the other side, UGA will likely be the best of the east followed closely by UT and USCe.  UF is getting better and should be a strong contender within a year or two.

I think Vandy and Kentucky will continue to weigh down the east.  And Bama will continue to be more dominant than any east team.  Unlike the east, or any other conference, there aren't any cupcakes in the SEC west.

I agree that Vandy and UK will maintain their historical roles.  I also feel that Bama will continue to be one of the top SECw teams.  I feel though that there will be enough really strong teams in the east that it will overcome the current dominance the west has over them.  That isn't to say though that I think the east will start winning the conference championship every year or even the national championship for that matter.  Just a change in the overall balance of power in the conference.

I agree that, perhaps. Missouri won't continue to dominate the east.
