Sounds about right to me. They have more questions than we do. The abrupt resignation of their last coach to go to Oregon State still baffles me.

I was reading elsewhere that Alvarez is very controlling of the football program and keeps the coaches on a tight leash. Don't know if there is any truth to it or not, but may explain the departure of Bielema and Anderson.

I have heard the same thing about Alvarez but leaving a successful program for Oregon State. I could understand Anderson leaving for the Nebraska job but for Oregon State. He must have wanted out of there bad.

Apparently, with Bielema, it was Alvarez's refusal to approve competitive salaries for assistant coaches.

It causes me no confusion whatsoever as to why someone would leave freaking cold Wisconsin for Mediterranean moderate coastal Oregon.  (I lived near freaking cold Wisconsin for 1 1/2 years -- one winter).
