Braves won last night (Friday).  Meanwhile, the Mets have lost 5 in a row.  Braves trail by 3.5 games.

Applause E-Cred, I guess the Mets are as good as the Braves right now. Win some and lose a lot. Slumps are a good killer of "Old MO."
Man i hope the "O's" can get their bats and gloves to working they are not playing as good as I thought they would this year.  , RTR!

Braves have won 2 in a row, 7 of the last 10, and are now 3.5 games behind Nats.

How is this possible?  I thought they traded away all their players.

From the pitching I saw yesterday which was Sunday I can't pronounce the name but that guy can pitch. He has a monster arm and good placement. I still have my reservations as bad as I would like to see the Braves win till September. RTR!

If they played Miami and Milwaukee all year, I'd get excited about their chances.

Hmmm...what's going on with HL's Dodgers?  Thinking

Braves didn't play an 'M' team tonight and lost 6-3 to the Dodgers.

I'm not following as closely as I usually do this year, but it appears they've put together a very talented young pitching staff.  They may not turn into Maddux, Glavine, and Smoltz, but if they develop well the Braves could be in position to contend when the new ballpark opens in 2017.

O's have been disappointing this year, but we came back and beat a good Houston team 4-3 last night, and despite being 2 games under .500, we are only 2 games back of division leader Tampa and pmull's Sox are only a half game back of us. The AL East is pretty pathetic right now.

We were lucky to win that with as many runs as we squandered away at the beginning of the game.  Normally I'd say that you blew your chance at a win in the series with Kershaw and Greinke pitching the next two, but Kershaw has been struggling.

I don't expect much from the braves out west. They never seem to play well there.

Sunday:

Braves stage a big comeback win (7-5) over the Giants, scoring 4 in the 9th.  That gave the Braves a split in the 4-game series.

The Braves are 3 games back of the Nats.
