Well looks like Cam will get better. CMS did a great job in jacksonville and has taught all his QB's to become better at that position. RTR!

Uh, not really. Jacksonville finished 27th out of 30 NFL teams in passing yards in 2010 and 19th in 2009. Not exactly great numbers.

I miss understood then, because I thought he made David Garard a good QB. I know when CMS was here he was not as good as a Head Coach, but but I thought he did well with the Offensive Plays in the Pros. RTR!

It's not your fault. Some of the Shula lovers on the forums and in the media played up the accomplishments of the Jacksonville QB & Shula's work. Garard finished in passing efficiency in the following:

2010-13th  Not too bad, but not great. For instance, Matt Ryan finished 11th but he had 28 TD's and 9 interceptions. Garard had 23 TD's but 15 interceptions. Big difference.

2009-17th in passing efficiency, 15 TD's & 10 interceptions

2008-20th in passing efficiency, 15TD's & 13 interceptions

Of course, Garard may not be the best NFL QB material out there, either.

Shula's Revenge: In order to make up for all the sacks taken by Brodie Croyle in the 2006 Iron Bowl, Shula secretly hatches plan to coach QBs and talks the team into drafting Cam so he would play behind the worst OL in the league. Pure genius.
