Could Duke Williams be on his way to the NFL? According to a tweet sent out by Auburn’s wide receiver, it looks like he may be leaning towards declaring for the 2015 Draft. Williams tweeted out that he needs to consider what is best for him and his family earlier today:  "I have to do what's best for me and my family" ...

First Sammie Coates, now Duke.  What's an Aub to do??

 Sad

Duke Williams is an NFL-type WR.  He posed more of a threat against Alabama than Sammie Coates, and except for a sore knee he might have caught another dozen passes against us.

Hope he indeed leaves for greener pastures.  He won't be missed!    Kiss

The best thing for him is to go pro.   Immediately.

“He's not quite sure what he's going to do yet,” Auburn offensive coordinator Rhett Lashlee said of Williams. “Sammie (was) a little further along in that — he was 100 percent, and of course Sammie graduated. That had a lot to do with it.” ...

"As a coach, if a young man is going to be a first or second round pick — specifically for-sure a first — and he's eligible, it's crazy for him not to go,” Lashlee said. “As much as we'd hate to lose (Williams), and sometimes that's tough because if you didn't plan for it in recruiting you may have quicker holes to fill, but that's what's best for him.”

He got pretty banged up this year and may feel he needs to get to the NFL while he's still healthy.

Sammy needs to put Duke under his arm and take him with him.
