Perhaps we were deluded by the press into believing the SEC West was dominant, when it was really a down year, and that explains the success of the Mississippi schools...

The SEC West was beat up from having to play each other. I think this was a factor, too.

I have figured out that if I don't pick the next game at all I am guaranteed 2nd place, and there is nothing I can do to get to 1st place since rtr has me by 11 yards on the tiebreaker.  However, if I do pick it and get it right, I could climb a spot higher in the overall contest and at least secure my spot in the top 10.

What to do, what to do?  Thinking

Maybe for you guys. Every time I tried to flip a coin, I lost it. An omen for what was to come.

I still can't believe that most of the CRS crowd (74%) finished below 50% in picks.  That's very odd!  You'd hope that a coin toss would be ~50%.
