Why not? Their road to the SECCG is smoothly paved. They will get an opponent who has been dragged through hell and back in the 4 or 5 preceding weeks. If they get by a battered SEC West opponent, they will have games with the likes of FSU or Oregon or MSU who don't have enough defense for an SEC offense, and who may see their first real defense of the season. It's not a bad call.

What are you talking about.  Georgia still plays Florida, Kentucky, Auburn, Charleston Southern (really?), and Georgia Tech.  That looks like a typical Barn schedule.
