PANIK attack: 6-0 SF.

Giants just keep coming. Even a rookie hits a triple.

RPI again: 7-0.

Time for KC fans to 'start drinking heavily'.

At least they're in the right state, and I speak from personal experience.

Missouri has no restrictions against open containers, and the only places it’s illegal to be drunk in public are occupied schools, churches or courthouses. While localities can pass laws banning public intoxication, it’s prohibited for cities and towns to require arrest for such offenses.

Well I have to say I am somewhat surprised by the score. If the Royals want it they are going to have to prove it to the Giants. Regular season is over and they ain't hot anymore. I guess they know that today by the way they bush spanked last night. RTR!

99 & I discussed this earlier about ratings without the Yankees, Red Sox, Dodgers, & maybe the Mets.

Quote
The Kansas City Royals were a great story in baseball this year, but as a team with little star power that hails from a small market, their surprise run to face the San Francisco Giants in the World Series may not be resonating with more casual sports fans.

Fox attracted a still-sizable audience to Game 1 of the Fall Classic on Tuesday — 12.2 million — but this left it tied with the 2012 Texas-San Francisco opener, which previously had been the smallest audience to kick things off. Last year’s World Series between the St. Louis Cardinals and Boston Red Sox averaged about 15 million, jumping 23% from 2012.

GAME 2

It's make it or break it for the Royals.

Here we go.  San Francisco up to bat......

Ventura pitching for KC.  He looks more settled than last-night's starter.
