All this crap involving him & the NFL was nothing more than a huge publicity stunt by the NFL, St. Louis, then the Cowboys. Just plain disgusting suck up publicity. Everyone knew he was not NFL material.

To borrow your phrase, BINGO! I saw this coming a mile away (no jokes, please). Sam shouldn't have been co-defensive player of the year last year. Funny thing is, the guy who had to share it with him is a leading candidate for NFL Rookie of the Year. Now, who was that guy ....
