Michigan in Deep Trouble & Coach Brady Hoke is Delusional

I have heard of "coach speak," but this is off the charts.

 

Michigan's offense was already neutered, trailing by two touchdowns, headed for yet another disaster against a major-conference opponent, losing 30-14 to Minnesota at Michigan Stadium.

Losing to the Gophers for just the third time since 1967 and watching the Gophers seize the Little Brown Jug, storming across the field, was the least of the Wolverines' worries.

The Wolverines fell to 2-3 overall (0-1 Big Ten), with their lone FBS victory coming against one of the division's worst teams. This after closing the 2013 season losing five of their last six.

Yet coach Brady Hoke said he had no concerns about his team's morale: "Not at all."

While many observers wondered where the next win will come from after two absent performances, Hoke was looking ahead, still optimistic.

"I think this team can still win the (Big Ten) championship," Hoke said. "I really do."

At this point I don't see how Hoke can turn this around.  They are going to get whacked by MSU and tOSU and probably some other teams.  The alumni base is already demanding change.

I gotta think Hoke goes and Mich will take a serious run at Miles.

Rece then started imitating Pinocchio, the motivational, speaker from the Geico commercial; "You have potential, you have potential and we have potential.................."

I almost feel sorry for Hoke. He seems like a nice guy. Not so much for Muskrat. He just seems like a jerk.

Michigan should have bit the bullet and shelled out the $ for Miles the first time around.  But some alumni understandably think he is a joke.  I think Miles could do well at Michigan; he would face less competition than in the SEC West, and his teams wouldn't have to be up for every game like they do now.

They still think they can get a Harbaugh.

I don't think we've heard the last of this incident. This is serious business and I bet we hear more about this.

The Pinocchio bit was hilarious.  

I do think this is Hoke's last season, and he'll be lucky to make it the whole season.  Fans were departing in droves v. Minnesota.

LOL!!  Good point. Michigan is so bad, they really don't have an easy team on the schedule. They play & probably lose to these:

Michigan cold easily end up at 5-7 or even 4-8.
