We need to enjoy his talents because he will be a top 5 pick. I used to wonder who was better, Coop or Julio. Now there is no doubt in my mind. Coop might not be the blocker Julio was (although he does a pretty good job) but as far as getting open, catching the ball and especially tough catches he is truly magical.

Also, yards after he catches the ball are pretty amazing.

I think he is the best receiver that I have seen at Bama and I don't just mean the catches that he has made.

I use to think Dennis Homan was a great WR but Coop is top of the list now. RTR!

It felt like Julio never reached his potential at Bama.  There were many great plays and catches of course, he just seemed inconsistent.  Except for the early part of last year when Cooper was hurting he has been consistently great.  The first four games of this season have been four of the best WR performances I remember at Bama, and this with a first-time starter who is not considered a great passer.

I grew up playing WR.  Ray Perkins was my favorite player, so I had a #88 Alabama jersey.  Over the years following Perkins' playing days, I've enjoyed watching many great receivers: Dennis Homan, Ozzie Newsome, David Palmer, Freddie Millons, and Julio Jones.

I have to agree with Jamos, Cooper is the Don Hutson of this millennium.

I have to say, I just wondered what if: Julio,  and Sims at QB, and Kiffin as OC

Ozzie was probably the best I ever saw until now. Coop just might be the #1 pick in the draft if he stays healthy, and Lord, please let him stay healthy. No homerism here, either, bit I would consider him the front runner for the Heisman.

Two years ago, I thought Cooper was a better pure receiver than Julio.  This year, Cooper has confirmed that.
