Good field position, play action pass.
Bad field position, sweep to left.  Play action would work here, but not sure if they would use it this early in season.  Must gain confidence with QB.

I would tend to agree with you here on the play calls. But I will also say if that if Kenyon Drake lines up in the slot then look for a quick hitter to him. I really think that his playing time will drastically go up if he keeps his nose clean!!

I agree with you on this and I think that has happened about keeping his nose clean. CNS has been giving him too much publicity without something good that has changed with him.
This morning has me wondering about the origin of that expression.   Huh?
Keep your nose clean is an Americanism dating to 1887. From the New Orleans Lantern, 13 October of that year:

There’s worse fellows than you looking for it, and if you only keep your nose clean, we’ll let you have it.

It is almost certainly a metaphorical reference to a child maintaining proper hygiene in polite company, in particular children with runny noses. One is expected by be on good behavior and presentable just as a child is among adults.

ecred for that one.  I knew it predated the popularity of coke, thought it might have been a reference to snuff of such.

I believe it will be a play set up to look like the zillions of sweeps they showed during A-day and the open scrimmage, but will actually be a designed screen pass. It will end up in the hands of O.J. Howard who will score on the play.

I got the screen part.

My mistake too.  I saw the time, not the date.  I owe him another e-cred.  Applause E-Cred

WR screen to Cooper, who runs 80 yards untouched to the end zone after a block from OJH clears the way.

Got the call right.  Result was a little short.
