Here ya go, CP.  This is me (at right) in an Alabama jersey at the 1970 Atlanta Pop Festival.  Some of the other 400,000 crazies are in the background.

I think we're eating breakfast (?).  I lived on 8th Street back then.

E-cred for CB on his funny.  I giggled.

BTW, found this old photo when I found the Pop Festival one.  It was taken in Mobile, as I recall.

My Mom, I think.  Either way, it's an original, unpublished pic.

Thanks.  I think it was late 1976 or 1977.  Just a snapshot that worked out well.

BTW, I heard GW speak at Alabama when he was campaigning for Prez.  Must have been 1971 (?).  He wasn't well received, and was cheered/jeered from the stage in Coleman Coliseum.  Students had organized a "Weirdos for Wallace" campaign, complete with bumper stickers (worn across butts).  They cheered loudly, and wouldn't stop cheering until he got the message and left the podium.  It was a strange time.  A few months later he was shot, and his campaign essentially ended.

I grew up behind the governor's mansion and went to school with George Jr. We were good friends. I actually played a couple of times at the mansion with him. Lurleen made great chocolate chip cookies.
