It is raining and nasty. RTR!

Nothing but snow here all morning.
Where? Florence or Huntsville?

I'm actually outside Florence (Killen) this morning at my parents' house, but I was told it was also snowing at my house in Huntsville (Meridianville).
Thanks

That is an ugly trophy - looks like a truck muffler.  Wish they'd kept the crystal football.
But it looks good in Saban's hands!

Got a bunch of those truck mufflers in the trophy room.

Short rest, but it was indeed worth it!

Good to see Saban get #7.

I've been following Alabama football for over 60 years. In all of football the two l teams I have grown to intensely dislike (I don't like to use the word Hate) would be Notre Dame and Ohio State.  Who would ever believed that we would beat both of them with blowout wins in back to back games for the National Championship.

I'm not sure that I realized how great this team was until the last 3 games.  This team may be the most stellar team yet. Look at all the individual awards this team has accumulated, topped by DeVonta's winning the Heisman.

I am hoping that we all can look back on this season and be especially proud of the way this team overcame so many obstacles in completing this historic season.

Well said, Leewillie. Maybe the most feelgood team to go along with being possibly the best team ever. We've certainly got the greatest coach of all time. No disrespect to Coach Bryant, whom I dearly loved, but what Saban has accomplished is one of the most impressive coaching jobs in all of sports. Now, if we could just get him to quit doing those awful AFLAC commercials.

Probably the closest thing to Coach Saban in our lifetime was John Wooden winning 10 National Championships in 12 years in basketball at UCLA.

One thing you all need to remember is that Coach Bear did it in the day when he could have 100 players but the rules are so much harder now. Coach Saban wins these NCG's with coaches leaving every year, and players bolting every year. That training for the young guy and new coaches for the process, has got to be hard but he gets it done.
