Good morning folks.  I'M BACK from time-out.    I have actually been going to the office every day since last Friday.  Should all this week but I may take a couple of days to work from home or take vacation days next week.  I'll decide later.

Glad everyone is doing well.  My family is even though they all seem stressed... It's going to be a Loooooooooooooooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnggggg summer for Mrs. Nalt...

How many kids do y'all have a home now, NALT?  Just the two boys?
Yes, just the two boys.  Runt is trying his best to agitate his mother as much as possible though...

That's what teenagers do.  How's his health?  Has he gained any weight back?
He is doing really well right now.  He gained enough to fill out his facial features and really looks good. He feels much better and doesn't have to run to the toilet 6 or 7 times per day to take a bloody dump. Thanks to Remicade and their program to help with the costs it doesn't look like his illness will bankrupt us either.  Thanks for asking...

Glad to hear that, NALT. Good news!

Yeah, it really is.  Right now I'm thinking that, if Ulcerative Colitis doesn't kill him, Covid-19 might.  If Covid-19 doesn't kill him then Mrs. Nalt probably will... Panic

Well Mrs Dottie and I have prayed for MR Runt often and then the rest of the board. I have put several things on FB for some to study. Just finished my 13th semester with SWBTS. It was really tough study. I got a special Program Complete certificate and DR. Vinson said on 5 or 6 people had ever completed this. If you ever go to FB look me up and see my sermons. My big prayer is we WILL play CFB this fall. RTR!

I'M BACK from time-out.

For the record, it was only a 24 hour time out.  Just a friendly little reminder so maybe next time you will remember to go to the right place before you post.

You're working too hard, you need to post some jokes.

Political jokes have their own pacle on this board and I'm not to sure that ANYBODY ever wonders over there.

That is entirely the point though, right?  People who don't want to see political jokes don't go over there.  If you do go over there then you have no right to complain.

FWIW, just because someone's name is mentioned and that person happens to be a political figure that automatically makes the joke a political joke?

Just so everyone is clear on this:  Yes!

I enjoy your jokes, including your political jokes, and I do hope you continue posting them.  But please post them in the right place.  Otherwise you are just creating unnecessary janitorial work for me or someone else to have to come along behind you and sweep up the mess.  And I don't want to spend 5 or 10 minutes every day moving threads around, or even 5 or 10 seconds for that matter.

Thank you and Mrs. Dottie for prayers for Runt.  They are greatly appreciated.

As for praying for football?  I don't personally do that because I don't think God cares one bit about sports of any kind.  Besides, if every Bama fan prays for a win against a particular team, and every one of that team's fans pray for their win over Bama, God can provide three different responses if I'm not correct.  He can either 1. answer neither. 2. Answer Bama's fan's prayers. Or 3. Answer the prayers of Bama's opponent's fans.  The most logical response IMO would be option 1.  Otherwise, He would be showing preference and God is NOT a respecter of persons.

AmIright?

I think "jokes" are "jokes" and no need to have them separated just because you or I consider it to be political.  Just like in life, if you don't like what I have to say about something, just ignore it and move forward.  Besides, technically ANY joke could be considered political to a point.

Apparently I missed the excitement.  I didn't know NALT had been socially distanced to the penalty box.

If God answered sports prayers, Notre Dame should be undefeated with their "Touchdown Jesus" mural seen from the stadium.

Or maybe the reason they suck now. I would think he would be offended by being called "Touchdown" Jesus.
