Good  morning.  Raining here too.  Coffee

Somehow I missed the Daytona 500.  I'll have to watch the highlights.  Glad the driver is going to be okay.

Supposed to rain all day here.  Jackson, the new swamp capital, is getting another 2" today.  Over 1000 homes flooded there, plus lots of trailer parks, ball fields, and businesses.  Pretty bad situation.

Yeah, I'm watching TWC and they were showing a video of a road near Jackson, where the Pearl River was rushing over the road. Lot's of flooding everywhere. More to come. Supposed to rain off and on here through Friday.

Yeah, don't remember this many rainy days here before.  Y'all had it last year.  Gees!

It gets old for sure. We pretty much stay water-logged up here in the winter. At least we aren't getting too much of the severe stuff, like you are. The one exception is the tornado that hit Spartanburg a couple of weeks ago.

Edit: Right on cue, TWC just said that Mississippi has had more tornadoes by far, than any other state this year at 36.

Good morning you soggy old guys.  It's soggy here too...  Banging your head against the wall.  But at least the last two days were really nice.

My next door neighbor grew up as a competitive shooter.  He currently holds a Federal Firearms License which allows him far greater privileges than us "normal" citizens.  He invited me over yesterday to do some shooting.  I took my FIL's Winchester 22LR rifle for Runt to shoot and I took my Remmington AR10 (it is 5 AR's safer than an AR15) while the neighbor brought an Uzzi and a Russian (actually a Polish knock-off of a Russian machine gun) and an M-16.  He let me shoot all three on "fully automatic" and IT. WAS. AWESOME!

I've often wondered how he affords all the ammo he shoots but he offered an explanation without my even asking.  Since he buys/sells so many weapons/ammo, he gets ammo for free.

Very cool, NALT. I've never fired a fully automatic weapon. How did it perform?

He sells a lot of weapons and ammo so he gets his ammo for free.  However, the "free" ammo comes loaded in aluminum casings.  That stuff tends to jam a lot which it did with us.  Had we been using quality ammo then it would have been an incredible experience.

Good morning.   Stars

Rainy still.  We had over an inch yesterday.  Ugh.

Last night, in the rain, LF and I went to a birthday party on the Square (for Women's Suffrage - 1920-2020).  We ate cake and 2 different bands played.  Then we went to see the Russian Ballet perform Carmen and Romeo/Juliet.  We didn't get home until late.

You?

I see she hasn't given up trying to get some class in you.

So women have been suffering for 100 years? Who knew?

Still rainy here too. More today and tomorrow and Friday. Enough already!

We have a 90 percent chance of rain tomorrow with a low of 26. There's some talk about snow on the tail end of it all.
