Y'all have a nice day!

Without you, 2, I wouldn't know one day from the next.

Yeah you would, it's fishing day. Every day is fishing day for you.  Laughing

The only difference between fishing day and golfballing day is the ride.  Mine floats!

Good morning folks.  Beautiful morning here in Kodiak.  This afternoon I am going to a pacle where I was told that I could fish for Halibut from the bank.  I want to check it out before buying a rod though.  I also got confirmation regarding the mama bear with three cubs that I went searching for on Monday.  I just didn't go far enough on the gravel road.  Apparently, where I drove about 6 miles down it, I should have driven about 45 minutes to the other end.  I'll be off work this weekend so I might try heading over there at that time.  I'm still seeing bald eagles but can't get a pic of them yet.

I hope you all have a great day.  Drive slow and easy down that road Chech.  Definitely don't want you having to be outside changing a flat tire or something and a bear decide to have a Chechsnack…

On my drive in to work this morning I saw a beautiful Bald Eagle perched high up in a pine tree.  I wanted to stop and take a photograph of it but my phone camera wouldn't have gotten a good pic and my dad's Cannon EOS 70D camera has some settings that aren't quite right so it isn't taking good close-ups.

NALT so glad you are having a good time my friend. Wish I could see the beauty you and Chechem get to see. When I was in the Army I didn't get to travel like you all I didn't have time to look. RTR!

Well, we've made it to Thursday. Got a full day today then a half day tomorrow. Saturday, I'm headed to Ga for some golf. My business partner is coming in Sunday and there will be more golf. Work Monday, then off to P'cola for the holiday, where there will be fireworks, fishing and firing at flag sticks; FUN!.

All this is my last hurrah before the busy season kicks in. I'll rarely come up for air when I return, so I plan to make the best of it before then.  Cool

Good morning, all.  Coffee

2, you might be working too hard.  Try some golf for relaxing.

We're off to the Lamar Valley to search for wolves.  Could be tough; warm days and wolves are not a good combo.

I've had three 10+ hour days in a row, and this one promises to be more of the same.  They better not plan to see me after lunch tomorrow.

Well it was nice her this morning again. Boy, did it rain hard in Heflin, and Fruithurst yesterday. The wind was blowing it all was wet and I could here my yeard growing. Hey you all don't work to hard, I remember those 10+ hour days when I was in construction. We did shutdowns on power plants, paper mills and etc. I have worked 21 hours a day trying to make money and get it back on line as quick as possible. RTR!

Good morning folks.  Beautiful day here with bright sunny skies and 53 degrees heading for the mid-60's.  I found a pacle to fish yesterday so now I need to go buy a license to give it a try.  Seems pretty simple and the guy that showed it to me caught about 5 decent fish while I was standing there watching.  Even better, he told me that I can borrow his gear any time I want while I'm up here... and he gave me the name and phone number of a friend of his that might just take me out fishing on his boat.  I haven't called the guy yet but hope to talk with him soon...

Doc, I feel for you on those long days.  I think I'll probably have some of those coming up while I am here working.  At least I do know that I will be off on Saturdays though so I can rest up or do something fun...Hoping to go find some Kodiak bears this Saturday...

Enjoy the wolf watching Chech but as 2 said, don't get eaten.  I hope you enjoy the golfball too 2 and have a safe trip when you head south... Preacher, you listen to your yeard growing all you want but don't get out there and try to mow it.  Let the younger folks help you out with that... Wink

Cheesy I have finally come to the degree of letting the lodge brothers cut it for me. They seem to like it and I quit liking it when I got down in my back. Shoot it is only 40.00 for my 3 acre yeard. RTR!

Woo hoo, we made it to Friday!!!  Dancing

Chech, I hope the fishing was good yesterday. NALT, there ought to be a lot of big yeards you can mow there in Alaska (or does the grass even grow?  )

HL, I hope you have a shorter day today.

OT, you going to go watch the Yankees-Red Sox game?

Whatever y'all do this weekend, have fun!
