Good Monday morning! The ladies swept the corndog-ettes; the baseball team got their brains bashed in. Such is life.

Looks like the rain is over for a while. I just wish it would take all this pollen with it.  

Monday, eh?  Who'd know.  

Yesterday was fun.  I went to visit my buddy out in the country; the same guy who I've helped over the years build and rebuild his house after tornadoes, build 2 decks, etc.

No building yesterday.  We burned a big bonfire of old materials from a shed he'd taken down, did a few chores around the farm, then played "free-style bocce".  We rolled the white pallino across the hilly lawn, then rolled the other balls to see who was closest.  The contest lasted 2 hours.  I won.
 

Never played it. Sounds like fun...,.I think. Back to woprk for me today. Not much in the mood, though. 

Bocce is much like golfball, except you don't use clubs and can't slice the ball.  Just roll it towards the pallino (instead of the flag).  Anybody can do that.
 

Is it legal to play with your pallino? 

Not in Arkansas! 
Keep in mind that we were in backwoods Mississippi, down a long gravel driveway off an unpaved road.  I wouldn't try it in a neighborhood full of Baptists.

Well it is cooler here than lately. Just hope it warms up some. Next Sunday is Mother's Day and I hope I make it. My back is killing me this morning not sure if it's the weather or something I done. Ya'll have a great please and smile when you can. RTR!

Good Tuesday morning. I keep posting what day it is for those on here who are retired and have a hard time keeping up. 

My daughter will be heading back to Pensacola this morning. I think we trained her up pretty good, and she's ready to go. Now, if her little dog will just get well, life will be good again.

Still 116 days to go til Bama kicks it off again, huh? Can't come too soon for me. I love revenge years.

SC, I don't know what a PHB is, but it sounds hideous. Does it wear khakis?
