Good morning folks.  We are in the cycle for "scattered" storms here.  It sprinkled driving in before daylight but even though lightning was flashing I didn't see any hard rain.  Hopefully it will remain scattered and totally miss the pacles that I need to mow tomorrow...

Morning All,

In reading all of your latest posts, we have been blessed here in Ttown, no storms or rain the past few days. Per the golf course though, a little rain might needed within the next few days but storms are not needed.

Mrs. J and I have been busy of late preparing for our "Dream Trip" that will begin next Wednesday. Last weekend we went to Fayetteville to visit our granddaughters who were a part of a fashion show that they insisted we be there. The youngest was part of the show and when Mrs. J and i saw what she was wearing for her role in the show, I asked her if she wanted to borrow my t-shirt. It was an experience and a lesson learned, I don't fit in real well with the "now generation"  Shocked.

We will be returning to Fayetteville next Wednesday for the graduation of the oldest of the two grandchildren there and we will head out on our trip westward the next day which will end with our return to Ttown at the end of June. We have no certain plans of where we are going except we hope to meet up with Chech in Yellowstone Park for a couple of days when we get to that area. The only other planned visit is to Little Falls, Minnesota to visit our son on our way back from the West. I will be playing in a golf tournament with him June 21st. We are also planning on visiting Busch Gardens as we go southward from there toward home.

Mrs. J is all excited about the trip and I am excited for her as I still remember that day she was seriously injured on the farm and I thought I was about to lose her. The decision to sell the farm has changed our lives in many ways and praise God for providing this wonderful change for us.

Take care everyone and I'll try to check in occasionally during the course fo the trip. RTR!!!

I'm so glad y'all are able to do all these things now, J. Have fun out west and safe travels. If you meet up with Chech, don't let him push you into Lake Hebgen.

Congratulations on your big trip, Jamos, and I wish y'all safe travels and the best of luck.  So glad your wife has recovered so well, and that y'all are enjoying life.  Teach Chech a little about fishing while you're out there.

Everybody have a safe evening. We got back from the VA in B'ham. Around Eastaboga we had some big rain but it was just before we got there. The urology doctor turned me loose But, the speech and throat doctor did not have to go back in June. The cancer in my throat is still there and messes with my swallowing. So Mote It Be! RTR!

RAIN

Good rainy morning.  This is nuts!
"Hey Chaac, 2Stater is in South Carolina, not here!"

Softball team took a huge step toward their SEC Championship last night, beating LSU 7-1 after a close 1-0 game until the 6th.

Oops.  Guess I was still asleep when I posted; as were you.

Good morning folks.  Raining here right now.  It held off this morning fortunately long enough for me to mow the yard at church.  I'm hoping to get a window of no rain that will let me get over to Dad's house and mow his 3 acres... I have to travel for work late in the week next week so this is my chance to get the mowing done...

Hope you have a great day too, Ricky, and that NALT gets his wish of a 3-acre gap in the showers (fat chance).
