I'll be watching, but I am stuck in Virginia with a house full of non-football types.  Hope we win easily so I don't get stressed dealing with this bunch.

Good morning folks.  I sure slept well last night after that great Bama win.  Church this morning followed by a potluck lunch with folks from church in honor of our older, retired preacher and his wife.  They are moving to Cullman so it is a way to say goodbye.  Who knows what we will do after that.

I stayed up until after 1am (ET), then the gang came into the den where I was sleeping at 6:15.  I may need a nap.

Last word on injuries (Saban, post-game interview) was that only Christian Miller has a significant injury.  He has a hammy.  But Miller tweeted late last night that he's good.  That guy really heals fast!

I slept like a log too. Bama winning is better than Ambien.  

Mrs 2 and I will have running around to do before it starts raining again. Good grief!

It still depends on what you are  for Preacher.  If you pray for Bama to dominate and/or win the game then I fear you may be praying for the wrong thing. Pray for the safety of all the players, coaches, officials, and others directly involved in the game and that might be answered the way you want it...God doesn't care about the outcome of any football game.  Also, to pray asking Him to give Bama another NC would be wrong IMO because there are likely Clemson fans that will be praying for God to give them the victory.  God will not be conflicted.  Sorry, I'll step out of the pulpit now...

Regardless of God's "caring about the outcome", I'm praying for the win against Clemson.  Coach Bryant is up there too, and he loves a winnah.   

Lots of news.  Christian Miller could play against Clemson; "pulled hammy", not a torn one.

Lots of coaching news.  No recruiting news of note.  Lots of NFL news.

Life in Virginia is crawling along.  Will be glad when we're back home for the NCG.
