We're in Virginia with LF's parents and other family members, so it's kind of like the Norman Rockwell depiction.  Great times, good football, and another championship coming!

ROLL TIDE

Savor every moment.  Norman Rockwell is hard to come by these days.

Good morning.  Coffee

A cold front blasted through yesterday, so it's a chilly 29 this morning in Virginia.  We're going out to travel the countryside in a while, so I'll have to bundle up.  The girls are shopping; boys are walking the antique shops.  You?

Looks like turkey sandwiches for lunch.  NO HAM!!  I think 2 ate it all yesterday.

We watched the Saints-Falcons until almost midnight last night; Saints 31-17.  That was after MSU slaughtered Ole Miss; OM QB got hurt right away, and the backup was more interested in fighting than playing.  There was a bench-clearing brawl at the end of 3rd Q, and a bunch of players were ejected.

Have fun.  Football starts early again today.  Big game here is UVA - VA Tech at 3:30.

 Kiss

Good morning, all.  I hope none of you have to call in Roto Rooter today in the aftermath of yesterday's feasting.

Big day tomorrow!  ROLL TIDE!

Our drainage system is fine, but I may need a plunger to force more pie down my throat!

Yeah, the water treatment plants will be working overtime for sure.

I watched the pros yesterday because of all the Bama players that were playing. The Bears beat the Lions yesterday. Eddie Jackson had a pick 6 for the Bears.

The Cowboys beat the Redskins and Amari Cooper had the game of his pro career. He had 2 TDs; one of them a 90 yarder, which was the longest play from scrimmage in the NFL this year. Unfortunately, one of those was against HaHa. Jon Allen and DaRon Payne both had good games for the Skins.

The Saints beat the Falcons, basically because Atlanta had fumble-itis. Julio and Ridley both had killer fumbles deep on Saints territory. So did Matt Ryan. The Falcons aren't going anywhere anyway, so it's just as well.

In case y'all were wondering, I'm wearing britches with an elastic waste today. Chech, there is one more piece of ham with your name on it.

I'm saving the leftover ambrosia for breakfast this morning.
At 1AM I was in a boat fishing.

I am about as relaxed and confident we will win tomorrow as I can remember going into an Auburn. My brother-in-law, who is an Auburn grad, was here for Thanksgiving yesterday and he is just the opposite. He is so concerned we will blow them out I do not think you could drive a nail up his butt with a hammer.

I had scrambled eggs and turkey sausage with salsa verde.  What was I thinking?

Except...I'm not sure what ambrosia is exactly.

My Auburn grad BIL and his two sons who are current Auburn students will be in for lunch today.  One of my brother's kids is in school at Mississippi State.  His hay is already in the barn though.

Here you go, HL. Ambrosia is basically a big ole, high calorie, sugar-filled, fruit salad. MY mother made the best I ever had.
