Rain like crazy this morning here. It is fall of the year for sure. It just dropped in all of a sudden too. Last week it was high 80's and all of a sudden it was lows in upper 40's and highs in the 70's all week. RTR!

For you, Preacher.

It rained like crazy in 1966 when Bama came from behind to beat the Vols in Knoxville.  My brother told me it was raining so hard that the students at the game couldn't see if the winning field goal went through the uprights; IT DID!!

Good morning folks.  Hope you enjoy the Smokies 2.  I'm sure it is beautiful up there right now, well, except for the rain... Tell Jamos hi for me and travel safe on the way home.  Chech, I don't see how someone as tall and lanky as you was able to sit in that little MG...

Actually there's a lot of leg room in those.  Of course, your feet are right behind the wheel, so if you wreck...

It was too low to the ground for Virginia's snow, so I sold it.

Good morning.  Great win yesterday.   Kiss

Clemson University disaster late last night when a floor collapsed during a party.  Dozens injured; none killed re reports.  Wow.  At least 30 injured.

If you're up before daybreak, go outside and see the meteor shower: Orionid Meteor Shower.  Supposed to be a biggie.  Not a great vantage from our yard, but I went out to try for a look.

Good morning from Gatlinburg, Tn. Great win yesterday. Lot's of unhappy viles fans. They were not unruly, however. I guess when you lose 12 in a row, you're too numb to really bow up.

I was surprised at how fan unfriendly the stadium is. Narrow seating areas, narrow aisles, awful bathrooms, and only one jumbotron. I told Chech last night that there were no replays shown on it for a quarter and a half. I asked one of the Vol fans why they didn't show replays. He said they do, but only of Tennessee good plays. I responded, "Then I guess we won't be seeing any today".

Lol, you oughta be ashamed of yourself 2 for making fun of those Viles like that.  Ecred for you though...

Good Monday morning to you all even though it is just almost 9:30 p.m. here in Hawaii.  I hope you all have a great day and hopefully someone will find Preacher some firewood...

Good morning.  It's cold (39) here today.

Preacher, if you were cold yesterday, it'll be worse today.  Better stay in bed!

Yesterday LF got a new kitchen sink, complete with a new water-filtration system.  It took most of the afternoon for installation (a buddy and I did it), and by 5pm the drips were all fixed.

Lots of football news following Alabama's big win and Ohio State's loss.  Should be fun this week during our bye.

Good morning, everybody.  It was a great weekend!

We've gone from upper-90s highs to my windshield being iced over in less than a month.  My car showed temps from 32 to 38 on my drive in to work this morning.

Morning gents. Chilly and a little tired this morning. My lovely wife got me a (VERY) early birthday present for yesterday with a ticket to see the Ravens play New Orleans. If you are strictly a football fan and didn't have a dog in the fight, it was a great game. But to lose by missing an extra point.  Banging your head against the wall. Banging your head against the wall. Banging your head against the wall. It reminded of the Orange Bowl when our kicker missed the extra point that would have tied it against Michigan. And then getting home took two hours because, apparently, traffic control in downtown Baltimore is just a nice phrase to throw around.

I heard on ESPN radio this morning that it was the first PAT he'd missed since high school, assuming he missed one then.  They couldn't confirm that either.

High school I'm not sure, but yeah, he was 222-222 in the NFL and 71-71 at Texas. Funny thing is, after we scored to get within one, I told the guy next to me "Wouldn't it be just our luck that Tucker misses this?" I accept the blame. I jinxed him.  Embarrassed

I watched the tail end of the game. When the announcer said that he never missed, I told Mrs 2 "He just jinxed him". My youngest daughter, who is a huge Saints fan loved it. Sorry for your loss though, CP.

We got back from Gatlinburg about 30 minutes ago. Had a great weekend, but good to be home.

NALT, you've been in Hawaii long enough to homestead, haven't you?

Congrats on the sink, Chech!

HL, those were the same temps I drove through this morning.

Oh, and just to let you know, we were so high up in the nose-bleeds Saturday that we couldn't even see the yellow first down line.
