While in West Yellowstone a young woman staying in our motel asked where she could eat dinner, saying she's "Vegan".

My first instincts were to answer "Any pasture", or "With the bison", or maybe "California".

Finally I explained that she'd have to try Buffalo Bar, where they fix salads any way you want them.  No other pacle even comes close to that diet.

She may have starved by now.

How do you know if someone is a vegan?

They’ll tell you.

They used to call themselves vegetarians.  Now they like vegan.  I prefer to call them herbivores.

Good morning folks.  Friday finally arrived.  Prayers for 2 and my daughter out in South Carolina and everyone else in the path of Hurricane Florence.  Hopefully the impact from the storm won't be too bad...

Morning gents. Echoing NALT's prayers for his daughter and 2. Florence is a nasty little you-know-what. I think we will eventually get around 1-2 inches of rain off of this, but not nearly the devastation that our friends further south are going to experience. Prayers for all in its path.

I've been texting back and forth with my cousin in Wilmington. Their power has been out since last night and they were in the eye wall and then the eye over the last couple of hours, but are ok. Cantore is in Wilmington and was standing in ankle deep water, so the flooding has begun there. Hopefully, it won't be as bad as New Bern, NC. Water was about 4-6 feet and rising a couple of hours ago.

We are expecting rain tomorrow afternoon, but won't get the brunt of it until Sunday. I've heard rain predictions for us from anywhere between 4 and 12 inches of rain. Well, I guess that narrows it down.

If not, Twin Peaks in Greenville will be running on a generator. This ole boy will be there.

The difference being vegetarians eat dairy and eggs, whereas vegans don't.  Some vegans I know also won't eat honey.
