A sawmill? I didn't know that went own in the city nowadays, lol? Ya'll have a safe day. We have a conference in Sylacauga today. I will be gone most of the day. RTR!
City?   Laughing  Preacher, per the last census the town I live in has just about 700+ people.  The town you live in/close to, Heflin is ~3700.  So, sounds like you really are the city slicker between the two of us...

Course, I do work in the Huntsville area on Redstone but that don't count...

Shocked Shocked you got me on that one NALT. I live in Fruithurst though  Laughing. RTR!

Here's the official U.S. government designations:

A town = up to 2,500

A city = 2,501 and above

Good morning folks.  Yesterday's family meeting with Dad was good.  Basically he wanted to give the responsibility for arranging all efforts to distribute his stuff at his house to my oldest brother.  It was really a big todo about nothing IMO but it turned into a nice visit with all of us. My brother that is just older than me usually only sees Dad maybe a couple of times each year and even then he is the first to leave. Well, yesterday he was the last to leave. I was glad to see that because I know Dad misses him a lot.  I'll be heading to church this morning but this afternoon I'll be doing some logging.  My buddy that has the sawmill wants me to help him haul his logs for him... Should be a good workout hopefully...

Glad things are well with your dad, NALT. Sounds like it was a good family visit.

I ended up vegging yesterday until about 6:00 last night. One of our agents recently had a stroke, but is recovering nicely. He's not 100% though, and needed help with a required certification. I was on the phone with him for over 2 hours getting him through it.

Hopefully, some golf today.

I think I found my youngest first car.  He loves the old VW Beetles.  Hopefully I can get it for a good price...

Wow!  Let us know what the highway patrol says when they see this zooming down the interstate.

Great car. Your other kids would be totally jealous. Might be a problem, NALT.

Golfball was my servant today. Shot a 76. Could have been the round of my life. 3 putted twice and lipped out 2 birdie putts and a par putt. No complaints, though.

 Cool

Update:
We’re back in Reno after 3 days at Lake Almanor CA. Just beautiful there and here. We caught some smallmouth bass and other fish; fun fun. Mostly we relaxed and visited. Last night was a wine party along the shore of the lake. Too much good food.

I’ll post pics when back home. Can’t with my cell phone.

Indeed, life is good. Coffee

Having coffee on the deck and watching jackrabbits hop about. Very different here. My buddy’s property is adjacent to BLM (government) land, so it’s an expanse of sage brush for miles, then mountains beyond. Nice. Cool today (about 60).

Head home tomorrow.

Well you have fun and be safe Chechem. NALT she is a tad better this morning but it comes and goes actually depends on the weather and moisture. Thanks for the prayers and thoughts. 2 when you go back to S.C. to work again be careful I understand there is a lot of construction on I-20 and I know how the traffic is in Atlanta. You all have a great day. RTR!
