I'm up and enjoying one of the last pleasant mornings in the 50s.  It's a good one for coffee on the patio.  Just starting to see a little light surface on the horizon in the East.  

Soon it will be 75 degrees and 98% humidity every day at dawn.  Blech.  Have a good day everyone!

Good morning folks.  I've been getting to work a bit early all week and part of last week.  Trying to make up some time that I will miss at work on Thursday and Friday.  Tomorrow Mrs. Nalt and I are going with our youngest boy's class field trip to Montgomery to visit the Capital.  Friday I'm going to try and get most of my weekend mowing jobs done to hopefully free up my Saturday and Sunday.  Hope everyone is safe and well today.

Good morning, all.  Nice to see HL is awake and joining the early birds today.  

We survived the trip to Memphis yesterday.  Today I'm off to Virginia, God willing.  But I'm not on my own schedule, if you get my drift.  We'll leave when everyone gets up and ready.  Could be hours yet.

Lots of good birds here on our feeders lately.  The Rose-breasted Grosbeaks were here for about 2 weeks, and just left.  But the Indigo Buntings are still around, as are Goldfinches, Red-headed Woodpeckers, Re-bellied Woodpeckers, White-breasted Nuthatches, Summer Tanagers, and much more.  The neighbor's cats are mesmerized.

Enjoy your trips, NALT.  Hope the spring weather continues, HL.  I'm heading north to find spring again.

MY SCHEDULE??  
We'd have left at 5AM if I were in charge.  I prolly should avoid posting more about that.  

We're off to Mountain Lake for a few days, then Charlottesville.  Reports that the dogwoods and some azaleas are still blooming in Charlottesville.  The rhododendrons, trillium, and mountain laurel will be blooming in the mountains.  I'm hoping to escape the group and enjoy the flowers and birds a bit.

I'm not totally stupid. 
NO.  I'd soon be in the situation of, "Well, honey, when are you coming back?  We need the car for shopping."

Thanks, HL.  I went to school up there, so I'm very familiar with the in-breeds.  Mountain lake is indeed close to West Virginia.  Too bad out ole buddy WV isn't with us to enjoy my insults!
