I played golf yesterday. They put me in a group with 3 guys from New Jersey. Their names were Charlie, Lou and Jan. I thought I was playing with the Mafia. I was afraid to beat them. Thought I might end up sleeping with the fishes.  

As it turned out, they were pretty good guys for a bunch of wise guys. I beat them all and lived to tell about it.  

I've spent a lot of time with the fishes; not all that bad!  

Anybody can do it above water.  

I've spent several 7-day stays below water too, in this thing:

  I don't see no fishes there...

  ....and I would ask, Was he asleep?

Here is thinking about the people in Texas this morning. I wonder if any churches in Alabama have provisions for what to do in such a case? Hope everybody is feeling well this morning. NALT praying all goes well with the MRI. It is damp here today it seems like rain is in the near future here on the knob. RTR!

Hey Preacher, I know of some churches in North Alabama that have security staffs.  Some have uniformed officers on duty while others have under cover officers.  Where I attend we have armed members that keep our heads on swivels every time we hear the door open.  We have also recently started having a man stand/sit in the foyer during the service as a first line of defense against an intruder that may want to harm us...

Yes sir it is but last night at church I brought up this problem and we decided to have Greeters at the front entrance there will be 2 that know most everybody who comes to our area. One is a returned officer and the other a big monster guy. Young man who use to be a bad fighter and has turned to the Lord but is willing to stand up in place of the church. So I think we are on the right foot. I offered to do it but the young men of the church had a fit so I just hushed, lol. RTR!
