Good morning folks.  Great pics Chech.  Great pic 2.  We will be leaving for church in a few minutes.  Not sure what Mrs. Nalt has planned for this afternoon.  Last night we took the kids to the Huntsville Speedway to watch the racing.  Oldest son loved it.  I was bored...  No mowing today so I'm hoping for a nice lazy day.  I hope Preacher and Ms. Dottie both get to go to church.

Yeah, I'm at ground zero for the total eclipse. Every hotel in Greenville is booked solid. There is a billboard down the street from my office that says, "Don't eclipse and drive". My secretary is taking off today to watch the eclipse, so I'll be running the entire show at work. Not looking forward to that. Errbody going crazy over this.

Good morning grumpy 2.  Aren't you as excited as the 200,000 people who will cram the 2-lane highways in Idaho hoping to see it.  Talk about a cluster f---; there's also a bicycle ride along the same highway (Highway 20) west of here, with 350 bicycles crowding the road.

Coffee

We're going fishing, and will watch the eclipse at the lake, have a picnic, and fish all day.  Wish you were here instead, everybody.  CLEAR SKIES and high of 75 today.  Woot.

Weather sounds great Chech.  I wonder how/if the eclipse might effect the fish bite.  My guess is minimal effect but who knows?  Maybe you can tell us later.  Good luck.  2, I'm sure you won't be busy unless you are trying to catch up on stuff.  EVERYBODY is going to be watching the sun...including myself and the family.  BTW, how is Ms. Ditsy this morning?  

I hope Preacher and Ms. Dottie are doing well this morning.  Preacher, did she get to go to church yesterday?

Just got back from my morning walk. There were people sleeping in the park so they could get a front toe seat for the eclipse.

No sir NALT Mrs Dottie didn't make church yesterday she was hurting to much. She seems to be resting great this morning. I am not sure about all this eclipse thing sounds like the protesters should stand up and put a stop to it. Nice outside this morning drinking my coffee. 2 you just make a bunch of money today and all will feel better, lol. You all have a great day. 2 weeks till victory Monday. RTR!

Well, I have to admit. The eclipse was pretty spectacular. It was pitch black here for about 2 minutes. Everyone from the office complexes was out in the parking lot with lounge chairs and music playing. Oohs and aahs from everybody. I was going to post some pics, but Photobucket has gone from being semi-worthless to totally worthless.

I guess the iris on my i-phone made it look lighter than it actually was. The shot of the eclipse itself wasn't very good, but it looked just like this:

We drove up to Pikeville, TN to experience totality.  It was about like your first pic as far as how dark it got.  It stayed that way for about 2-1/2 minutes then quickly got bright and sunny again.  It was a really great thing to experience.

I fished right through it, but had my glasses and looked at progress periodically.  Couldn't tell the fish even noticed.

I guess all of our agents took the day off for the eclipse yesterday, because it was slooooooooow. The phone did not ring until well after the eclipse, and it was from a couple of agents who just wanted to talk about the eclipse.

They'll make up for it today and kick my arse.  Tinfoil Hat
