Hey NALT glad it went well with the tree. I hope it works out with the guy at the sawmill. 2 hope yall are drying out some  but all the golf ball holes may be full of water. I see Chechem made an appearance glad all is well. We still have rain here in East Alabama just hoping it eases off next week. I am going to Aspen Dental today for free dental work for veterans. They are doing it today. I think that is awfully nice of them. Well everybody have a great day and glad 2 the healing is coming along well. RTR!

Good morning folks.  Rain still coming down this morning but the local weather guessers think it should stop later this morning and leave us with a nice weekend.  Mrs. Nalt called me at work yesterday afternoon saying that an oak tree on the boundary of our property was leaning toward my truck and she thought it could fall on it.  So, I took off from work and went home to find the tree still standing just as it has for the last few years.  This tree died due to the drought last summer and I have been planning/thinking about taking it down but I just didn't want to yet.  Well, with her fearing the worst and the fact that Tropical Depression Cindy dumping lots of water on us and the winds starting to pick up I decided to go ahead and drop it.  I put a rope up high in it and pulled it from the base of another tree nearby.  Dropped it exactly where/how I wanted to.

It would have been easier to move the truck.  Just saying.

Well back from Aspen Dental in Oxford for the free Veteran Dental today. They pulled 2 teeth and being on this Plavix, I been being like a stuck hog. Only warm soup for 48 hrs. Just saved about 200 dollars though. I sure than Aspen for their service to us. RTR!

Good morning folks.  Yesterday turned out to be really nice.  Hopefully today will as well...I have to finish mowing Mrs. Nalt's mother's yard after church then go over and mow my Dad's yard...all three acres...

Well our VBS starts tonight and goes through Wed. and Fri. I get to help this year with the 5,6,and 7 graders. I have a feeling I will learn plenty. RTR!

Thank you Old Tider. I have to say they listen intently and Sister Janie taught them well and they ask valid questions. It was a lot of fun this they Starveyors Seeking the invisible over the visible. RTR!

UF and LSU go at it tonight in the first game of the WS championship. I think I'm pulling for LSU. Go corndogs!

This should be a great WS this year.  Gators won the series during the season 2-1.  Both teams are really good so we'll see.  I'm pulling for the Gators.
