CNS said the team had an enthusiastic and productive practice yesterday.  So don't worry about complacency.

Right now I'm looking out at some big thunderboomers.  Looks like a mess on the way!

Yep, radar shows you in the crosshairs. Keep an eye out!

WOAH, heavy heavy heavy rain.

We have an inch in the rain gauge; still coming down.  Not much thunder, and no threatening winds.

Hope everyone who needs rain gets some!

Good Thursday morning. 2 days to the big showdown between TAMU and Bama. Starting to get a little nervous. I know this isn't the same team that Trevor Knight lit up a couple of years ago, but I worry that we bring out the best in him. Heck his team isn't even the same team.
Maybe I worry too much.  Lips Sealed

No, you should worry a bit about A&M.  They're undefeated, had a week off to prepare for us, and have capable players at every position.

But this is the team that Ole Miss almost beat.

Good (chilly) morning.  Coffee is great today!  Coffee

We had over an inch of rain.  Unfortunately the rain didn't do much to help the drought around Birmingham, though.  They barely got a drizzle.  Hopefully those of you elsewhere got some.

The Aggies are crowing that they want to prove their worth.  They picked the wrong pacle to prove that!!

This is a big game, and our team is likely tired.  Hopefully they hold it together for this game, whip A&M, then rest for a week.  Been a series of tough games lately.

Good morning it is warm as a fickle pickle in the house this morning. Our pups lady and spot don't seem to mind they barked at deer and the trains all night. I haven't went outside yet but I would think it would be cool. I sure hear Mrs Dottie's wind chimes hammering out there. So, yall be safe and have a grand day. God Bless. RTR!

We didn't get a drop of rain here. The front was dry moving through P'cola. The temp is down to 64 degrees and the wind is blowing, so at least it feels like fall now. It got up to 90 degrees here yesterday. Will only be in the 70's today.

Laughing  (The worms would be parched in northern Georgia, which has experienced extreme drought conditions this year.)

Fortunately, we finally received much needed rain in Huntsville, with highs in the 60s today.

We have been extremely dry all summer over in Jackson County.  Didn't get that much rain  yesterday either.  Where I work got a bit of rain but in the grand scheme it wasn't very much actually...

My grass hasn't been cut in over a month. Finally got a decent rain and a few hours of drizzle in Middle Tennessee.

I haven't cut my grass since the first week of August.  It's Bermuda grass, a bit high, but not too bad.  I may not need to cut it until spring.  Not good to cut it short during a drought, so it's just sitting there.
