Good morning, guys.

Today I head back to Hebgen Lake to fish from my pontoon boat.  I'm meeting with a guy I met last trip; he lives here and is bringing some friends.  We'll have a party on the lake (while fishing, of course).  Mark is teaching Megan how to flyfish, so it could be entertaining!  I'm heading out in a few minutes.

Here's the pontoon boat I'm using now:


It's 35 degrees here this morning.  Brrr.  But it should help slow the wildfires.  Yesterday's rain in the Lamar Valley put out one of the fires inside the park.  If you know the park (YNP), the fire was in the mountains right in front of Roosevelt Lodge.  People sitting on the porch had watched the planes drop water on it.  Well, Ricky, yesterday God said, "I got this", and rained it out!

No rain around West Yellowstone, though.  The fires continue here (in the mountains).  Maybe God will help with these; lots of smoke in some regions (not right here).

Scrimmage today?  Didn't see a story about it, but prolly.  Do we have a QB yet??

I'm glad one of the fires was extinguished. Praying for the others to be put out.

There is a scrimmage today. No QB to announce yet. I heard CB stunk the pacle up yesterday. I think I'm going with team Hurts.

Thank you Chechem for the pics and the great news. Yes sir, God has Got This. He made it so who else could be in charge? Looking forward to hearing about the scrimmage today and I see Cornwell is not going to be our QB I am guessing now that it is between Hurts and whoever. I wonder if Blake is showing up any good things yet? When we got him I thought he might be our future but now I believe Hurts is it. We got rain here again last night. Hope it rains and puts out those fires. RTR!

Thanks for the updates, guys.  Looks like we have more of a QB shortage than expected.  After the spring game I thought Hurts was the best out there.  BUT, can we survive with a freshman QB??  I'm watching a replay of last year's Tenn game (ESPNU).  Coker's passing and Henry's running saved us.  YIKES!

Good morning. I hope everybody is having a Blessed Day. We didn't get to go to Service to the Lord this morning but maybe tonight. My back is still giving me a hard time and little sleep at night is costly. I see our QB's are playing around OR CNS is like he always is and he already knows who is going to start but we won't know along with the world until game night. Chechem hope your having a safe and great time. RTR!

Not much news about the team this morning.  Guess the writers broke their pencils describing the QB play during Saturday's scrimmage.

Guess what, today is the beginning of classes at Ole Miss.

Preacher, I hope your back is better. I can identify, if only a little bit. I slept wrong or something and have a stiff, sore neck. Sciatic nerve is acting up as well. Getting old is not what it's cracked up to be.

Chech, glad you're having a good time. You are indeed the fly fisher king. 

NALT, I guess we'll just have to find us an old mud puddle to drop a line in. We don't have Chech's luck.

  for you all and thanks for the thoughts. I got 2 more days after today and at 6 AM Wed. morning the surgery begins. Well a few more days and kick off. I got up this morning looking for my hummingbirds and I haven't seen them in a few days. I really enjoy watching them when they come to drink. Another day and another dollar to you all. Well God Bless and I hope the fires are going out in YNP. RTR!
