Morning, all.

We only stayed in the sun for 2 hours yesterday, but were all soaked in sweat by then.  Just too hot.  But we got the tasks done; looking good.

Not really the house, Preacher!

Today is 'indoor-chore day'.  I'm going to prepare some flies and such for the upcoming fishing trip to Montana.  Seen the news?  It's hot there too!

Never been to Montana, but I hear it's beautiful in a lot of areas. Have fun fishing.

I'll be heading back to P'cola today. I sure hope my AC cooperates.

We need to make a fishing trip out west, 2.  I'm not leaving for this one for a couple of weeks yet, and meeting a buddy out there.  We should plan an expedition for the fall season.

It is hot here in North Alabama too Chech.  Mrs. Nalt said her temp display on her van said 104 at one point yesterday...Not sure how accurate that thing is though but I'm sure it was in triple digits.  Love that heat too... Cool  Enjoy your Montana trip.  The closest I've ever gotten to that is a few years ago while working out in Colorado Springs, CO I decided to drive up to Cheyenne, Wyoming for the Frontier Day's Rodeo, The Daddy of Em' All.  Had a great time too.  By the way, the Frontier Days events start today and run through next week...Wish I could take the family out there...

I am glad everybody is getting things done this week. My wife and I talked about moving to Montana or North Dakota one time to live because of the quietness up there out in the woods. We just have a love for Alabama and can't leave. We got rain yesterday again finally some coming our way and the grass almost looks green. RTR!

LF and I stopped in Cheyenne a few years ago.  We'd been on the road all day, and we just wanted a motel room for the night; we were bushed.

BUT, it was Frontiers Day Rodeo, and NOTHING was available.  We asked around, and were directed to a roach-rodent motel at the edge of town.  We drove up to the check-in room, and 2 hookers walked up to our car.

We drove on to Nebraska -- late into the night!

So, was your problem with the roaches/rodents or the 2 hookers?

Man, I would truly enjoy that! Unfortunately, that is the busiest time of year for me. No way I could get away to do that. Alas, once again, I will have to live vicariously through you and your pics.

NALT, that sounds like fun, too. You guys have got it going on!

Chech has  it going on.  I just get a really good trip about once every year or so... Colorado Springs is one of my most frequent destinations and I would love to take the family out there on a vacation...so much to see.  Just so happens that they sent me to Kauai, HI last year for 24 days... Cool

...to work...  Wink

Well, LF was with me!!

Ricky, there are always roaches if there are hookers.  And there are always hookers!!
Call them 'Soiled Doves, Doves Tainted, Fallen Doves, Working Girls, Prostitutes, Brothel Girls, Saloon Girls, Ladies of the Night', whatever.  They've been out west as long as there's been alcohol.
