Well, we finally got rain yesterday.  And now it's cooler and wetter!

And nothing good came from the dentist office; ROOT CANAL scheduled for Thursday.  Ugh.

Better than the alternative.

Good luck with the root canal, Chech. They aren't much fun.

I rather enjoyed VBS. We were members of the First Presbyterian Church of Montgomery, and every year, the Youth Group would go to a retreat in Panama City. It was always a blast. I have fond memories of those times. Chech and Preacher, believe it or not, I was a Sunday School teacher at that church when I was 19 yrs old and taught for 2 years.

Wow, never saw that coming.

As far as VBS, I'd rather have the root canal!

Well it thrills me to know you was a Sunday School teacher. I hope you haven't given up. I really do love being a teacher or anything I can to share the Word of God. I ain't sure about that root canal but I hope it goes well.  Shocked, We finally got some much needed rain last evening and it was cool sleeping with our windows open and doors for the coolness last night. This morning Mrs Dottie and I had coffee and it was really joyful. I wouldn't mind seeing some more today. Ya'll have a great day and give our love to the families. RTR!

Now I teach insurance agents. BTW, that's much harder than being a Sunday School teacher.

That's because the insurance industry has more rules and regulations than God!

Laughing Yep! A lot more than 10.

Well Heavenly Father gave us 10 Commandments one time. We couldn't even get them right. RTR!

Neither can the insurance agents, Preacher.

Applause E-Cred e-cred on that one 2.  Laughing, It is a warm 80 degrees this morning already but looking forward to some more rain someday.  , VBS was so much fun we had 4 kids to claim Jesus as Savior last night at Vacation Bible School. Yes we did an extensive talk with them before accepting their push. Everybody it is so wonderful to know these children understand what is real in this world.  Cheesy, RTR!

That's great, Preacher! We need more of that. It appears our citizens, especially the younger ones outside of the deep south, are losing their moral compass.

I ate at another company's cafeteria today while on a break from a meeting.  I was going to be a good boy and make a salad from their bar, but they had fried shrimp as their special.  Fried shrimp (not the out of the back stuff either), 2 sides, and a drink for $6.21 tax and all.  That's quite a steal.

Am I ever glad to see the month of June come to an end.

Usually June is a good month to still enjoy the outdoors before the weather gets so hot it becomes unbearable but I never did anything sports wise that I enjoy most like playing golf and fishing.

Mrs. J and I are going to try and start the month of July off doing something that we don't get to do that often and that is go on a little vacation. Usually the two of us don't travel that much together because we don't have anyone to take care of the animals but a little good fortune came our way that has made it possible. There are a set of twin girls at church, age 12, that asked Mrs. J to teach them how to ride horse early in the year and that has provided us someone to tend the animals. Their dad grew up on a farm and that has made this situation much better. The girls have done extremely well with the horses and love coming to our place just to be with the animals. Mrs. J asked the girls and their dad if they would like to tend the animals for a few days and it was unanimous, yes. We also invited them to fill their freezer with veggies from our garden and that was the icing on the cake.

Our Granddaughter invited us to come to Wichita Falls, Texas again this year for the 4th of July celebration and to see our new great grandson that we haven't seen so we are leaving out early in the morning. It will be nice to get away from the place for a few days.

Anyway, I hope all of you have a very happy 4th of July and get a chance to see some fireworks. Take care and be careful with the heat. Pray Cheesy

Hey J and Mrs J please know GOD be with you and the family. I was raised with my own horse all my life till tragedy took place. I love the smell and the eyes of a horse so much. I don't know where you live but to have horses and someone to tend them you can trust is such a miracle. God Bless. RTR!

Enjoy your vacation, Jamos.  You deserve a break, it's been too long, and it's about time you see that great grandchild!  Have fun!

Today is root-canal day for me.  First I have a few errands to run, then under the drill.  Hope you all have a good day.

Thanks fellas, we're about ready to head that way. Check I hope you don't have any plans on building houses this weekend, that heat is bad news these days. 2, I know what you have in mind so hit them straight and not too often. Again, I hope all of you have a wonderful 4th weekend.  Pray Cheesy

Safe travels Jamos.  Give those grandkids a big ole kiss from us Bama boys... Cool  Chech, I hope that root canal goes well for you.  2, How about hitting a hole in 1 for me while you're out there.  Preacher, enjoy sitting under the shade watching the mercury rise...I'm stuck in the basement here at work at least until 3 p.m. then need to go home and work on my lawn mower and a couple of other things...  Happy 4th of July to everyone...
