Good Saturday morning.    Coffee

Well, the Softball team won - WOOT!
But the Baseball team failed again vs USCe - Booo!

And Mr. Ed's best friend died.    Sad

Morning Chech.  Coffee

Ha, Mr. Ed. I never learned to like that show.

The baseball team seems to find many ways to let a win escape them. The softball team seems to be waiting on ways to win a game versus creating those scoring chances. Bill Battle paid a visit to the softball game which had a good crowd considering it was an early game on a work day. We went by the baseball game after the softball game and they still aren't drawing that much of a crowd regardless of who they are playing. Today will be a big softball day as the elimination games kick in gear. Ole Miss is still playing good ball, I think they have a chance to win their way to Oklahoma City if their pitcher can maintain the level she has been pitching. They have to beat Oklahoma to get there but their new coach has them playing at a level that it might just happen.

Have a good day everyone. Pray Cheesy

If I pull one out of my golf bag, the results are better.

As long as you don't whack a seagull with your driver!

Wrong! I'll take all the birdies I can get.  Cheesy

Okay, then a dead seagull will be your only birdie

Oh Wiiiiiilbur!  Sad

Travel day. Heading to Greenville today and then off to Myrtle Beach tomorrow. Going from fishing extravaganza to golf extravaganza. I hope my golf results are better than my fishing results.

Nice to have good choices to choose from.
Have a safe trip. Wink

Good morning, all.  Coffee

We had a nice afternoon walking around Oxford and eating dinner at a Thai Restaurant (not my choice, but good).  The morning was spent framing up the last outside wall of the H4H house; making progress, but too few of us showing up lately.

Today should be another beautiful spring day.  Just lovely for the past week.  Hope you can all enjoy it; Ricky, stop working in the yard!!

Good (chilly) morning.  It's 34 degrees here today (Basalt, Colorado).

Life is good.  I'm spending a few days on the Frying Pan River, a Gold Medal Trout Waters stream.  Great fun yesterday.  Fishing was slow at midday, but an hour before dark I hooked 4 trout in 4 casts.  Then the action stopped again.

Light snow is forecast this morning.  I'll gear up!

Well it is a beautiful morning here on the Kilgore's Knob. It has been a busy week and almost got our roof covered with tin. Now, maybe the leaks will stop and we can begin to fix the back wall. Going to be a costly summer for sure. I use to be in business for ourselves and I didn't know building material went up so much from 2007. It's like OSB tripled in price shoot. Hey Chechem I hope you have a lot of fun and catch all the trout out there. lol, RTR!

Wow, from hot sultry weather to snow, quite a contrast. Glad you are having fun though, nice pic of the trout.  Applause E-Cred

Thanks, guys.  Yes, Ricky, I'm having great fun.  I've found a wonderful little Colorado town (Basalt) with great fishing (FryingPan River).  I'm heading out again in just a few minutes to fish the "Pan" again.  Best day catching trout ever yesterday; all day fish were rising all around.  Some were BIG too.  Most were 14-18", but a new friend (Rich) next to me caught a 5-6-lb one.

Here's one who asked for a pic:

Wow, what a week! Went to my annual Myrtle Beach golf outing, but instead of just being a participant with no responsibilities, I had the run the show since our illustrious leader was recouping from hip surgery. I'm exhausted, even though it was a great time for everybody. Looks like we got out just in time too, since a tropical system is moving in over the weekend.

Chech, looks like you hit the mother load of trout. Great job! I know that was fun.

I hope everyone is doing well and will enjoy the holiday weekend. Holiday traffic was horrible. Took me 13 1/2 hours to get home, and I witnessed a heck of an accident that I almost got caught up in. The guy totaled his car, but he was ok other than being quite shaken up. Anyway, we all really need to remember what this holiday is all about.

Below is a pic of our motley crew on the first tee, the first day.
