Thanks Chech. I'm sitting in the waiting room of the hospital as my oldest brother is having open heart surgery. Praying for everything to go well.

Good morning.  Coffee

THE POLAR VORTEX HAS RETURNED!!  Today's high will be 33, and the wind chill will be single digits this morning.  I've got to go out for a while, but no way am I working outdoors in this stuff.

Blizzard

Looks like the female boogers pulled an upset.  Guess nothing lasts forever!!

Wow, we slept past 5 o'clock this morning. Huh?

Another cold morning but no storms.

It's good that 2's parade of bad luck seems to have gotten better, he really needed something good to happen. Prayers for his brother on a speedy recovery. Hopefully all of our members are feeling better as Spring is just around the corner. Mrs. J was busy in her garden yesterday doing some of her preps for her garden, that girl loves to plant something.

It's a Valentines weekend so do something special for your sweetheart, Mrs. J and I were engaged on that day 51 years ago. Happy Valentines Day to all of you and wishing you all many, many more. Prayers to all of you so count your blessings and be warm and safe in the days ahead. Pray Cheesy

Many thanks to all of you for the well wishes. My brother is doing very well, thanks to the good Lord and and excellent surgeon. In fact, he's doing so well that I should be able to return home today.

It's even quite cool down here in Kissimmee, so I know all of y'all are in cold or frigid weather. Stay indoors and stay warm, and know spring is right around the corner.

Good morning, Alabama fans.  It's a good, cold Valentine's day.

 Kiss Kiss Kiss Kiss Kiss

Yesterday was BIG in Alabama sports:

1. Coach Saban added a transfer WR (Gehrig Dieter), reminiscent of Richard Mullaney.  Looks like an experienced, polished WR.

2. Alabama knocked off Florida in bb.

3. The softball team won 2 more games on Saturday to edge forward in their tournament.

Ricky, as I said a few days back, SPRING is coming this week!!  Should be close to 70 by week's end.

Morning All!!!!! Coffee

Chech, you have all kinds of good information this morning, football, basketball, softball, and the weather. Applause E-Cred

I saw where 2 said he may travel back home tomorrow but i haven't seen a post since then, hopefully everything is still okay with his brother and he made it back home in good shape.

Mrs. J and I went to Diamond Jims steak house close to Livingston last even for our Valentines celebration and took a couple of our friends along. It was their first trip there and they now know why Mrs. J and I like to eat there. Also, I have invited him to join CRS so hopefully we will get a new member this week. He and his wife are huge Bama fans and have a remarkable history of attending Bama events.

Preacher I haven't read anything of late about anymore accidents around your place and the two of you seem to have had some good days in the past week. We are all praying for you two and hopefully you will have more some more good days in the weeks ahead.

I can't say enough about our basketball team and coaches, they have accomplished what everyone thought was impossible, take a team that had no hope of accomplishing anything this season and are now knocking on the door of the Big Dance. No one has answered the knock at the door just yet but a few more wins and they will be wearing the glass slippers.

Have a Happy Valentines Day and our prayers go out to all of you for a wonderful week ahead. Pray Cheesy

Good morning, everyone!  I'm back in Pensacola and exhausted, but my brother is doing very well. They have removed the last of his tubes, have walked him around several times and will be taking him out of ICU today to be put in a regular room. The heart attack he had is called the "Widow Maker" and his doctor told him that most people with that kind of heart attack don't even make it to the ER. He is a very lucky man!

It was great seeing Bama having a big day yesterday, especially the basketball team. Biggest road win for Bama in a long time. Looks like they are playing with a lot of confidence right now. I hope they can keep it up. Also, kudos to the softball team for rebounding with 2 solid wins yesterday.
