Good morning everybody. Cloudy and dreary over here but the light of the Lord always shines through. Sad on the news about the shootings. Our young people are having a hard time for some reason. .... RTR!
look like Big Al to you ?

Is this real?  Where did you get this?

Then it must be real.
It looks awesome though.

Turned out to be prophetic!  That trunk was full of water!

Boy it sure is gloomy over here in East Alabama. I got a feeling we may be in for a rain storm flood in Athens Saturday. The Hurricane may move some to the west and it will be a messy game. Who holds on to the football wins the game in that case. RTR!

I think that hurricane is more likely to hit Bermuda than Athens.
Trust me, Preacher, I'm a weather wizard!

The hurricane is now projected to indeed hit Bermuda!

What a tremendous weekend I had in Tuscaloosa and Athens this weekend. Jamos and Mrs J are two of the most gracious people I have ever known, and I thank them both, for all of their hospitality. Special thanks to J for inviting me, He is a great friend!

J and I were like 2 little kids at the game, carrying on like nobody's business. That may have been the most fun I have ever had at a game, watching Bama totally dismantle Jawja in the rain, at their place. It was very satisfying watching the Georgia faithful abandoning ship in full force, 3 minutes into the 2nd half. Some Ga fans in our section would walk in front of us to leave, and J would say "Where y'all goin'? The game's not over." Their only response was ducked, beaten heads, lol!

After the game, we were outside the bathrooms and this girl wearing Ga attire was standing there. Our classy J looked at her and commended her for staying the entire game. About that time, her boyfriend, wearing a Bama hat came up and said "We weren't going anywhere."   Laughing

Also, thanks to Chech for checking in with us. I think he was really just checking on me to make sure I hadn't pi$$ed off Chaac anymore. Apparently, I had

I know most of you know it already, but these are two great guys.  Toast 4

I posted this in the Daily Thread a few minutes ago. I did not see J's thread here at the time, so I will add my post from the daily. We do indeed, have a great ambassador for the U of A! in Jamos:

Good morning, CRS!  Coffee

There will be a bunch of long faces among the Ole Miss faithful this morning, and I'll have to keep my giggles under wraps.

A quick story:
I sold a 1958 Sugar Bowl ticket stub on Ebay this week.  It was the first college game I ever attended, and I had kept the 3 stubs (my father, brother, and me).  It was bought by a guy from North Carolina.  He told me, "My dad was one of the Ole Miss QB's on that team and scored a TD. He would also be Sugar Bowl MVP of the 1960 Game as well."

That is very cool! I'm guessing your classes will be very quiet today.

Hey J, I'm just now drying out, and my feet are still clean, too.  Cheesy
