Undecided Hmmm....that's a tad farther west than yesterday's. Still too early to start worrying.

Yeah, indeed.  The spaghetti models have several lines well into the middle Gulf too.  This is looking worrisome.

Well, it'll be a few days yet before prayers are necessary.  Meanwhile, enjoy your coffee.  After all, it's Friday; weekend tomorrow.

If it hits the tail end of Florida, going over land should weaken it enough to make it less worrisome.  The storms that travel over the open Gulf are the ones that gain steam.

Not really, CP.  Katrina went over the 'tail end of Florida'.

Morning everyone. Coffee

The clock is ticking as the storm nears, hopefully it will downgrade and spare ann major damage to the mainland. Our forecasters are saying this morning that it will come right up the middle of Florida from Miami to Jacksonville, that would be a lot of rain for the State of Florida but we all know so well about weather forecasting.  Sad

Mrs. J and I are going over to Ole Hickory steak restaurant in Columbus, Miss tonight to celebrate a birthday, all of you need to come and join us. It's an old restaurant but they sure have good steaks there, very crowded most of the time.

It's TGIF and I hope all of you have a wonderful day and weekend, we only have one more week to go. RTR!!!

Chech, what are you hearing out of the Ole Miss practices?

Very little.
Rod Taylor (OL) out with a shoulder injury.  Not much else.
No word on the QB lately, so he must be behaving (so far).

Yes.  Apparently not an issue any further.

Evening gents. I am getting a little antsy for some football. I have watched some preseason NFL and, well .....

I didn't know you were related to Chech.

We are all related on here, which is frightening.

Now now, OT. This isn't ITAT.

Chaac, I thought we were buddies.

Truly.  This storm has consistently moved outside the confidence levels of the storm-track cone.  Just yesterday it was going right up through the middle of the Florida peninsula; now missing to the west.

LOOK OUT TEXAS!!

At least they don't predict that it will become a hurricane any more. Calling for it to remain a TS.
