Good morning, all. 

The adventures continue here in the tropics.  My buddy hooked a Tarpon last night, which raced toward the pier, jumped and slammed itself into the pier underside, which knocked it senseless.  Before we could unhook it, suddenly it came back to life and raced away, jumped, and broke the line.  Wow!

Golly, I just got done with a weedeater and that was a gigantice mistake. My back is killing me. I put it across my walker and I just tried to hold it when I had to trim and this did not work. I will have a friend do this next as I have before. Man it don't take long and much pain to learn a lesson. RTR!

Preacher, you are smarter than that.
Ask for help.  You have so many friends that you can quit doing yard work.  None of us wants you to be in pain.

I am perfectly healthy and I hate weed eating.  I am on a quest to make my yard "weed eater not required" this summer.  We are putting in edging and mulch all around anything that would require a weed eater.

Hey Chechem you are very much right. Everybody seems so busy with their own stuff sometimes you hate to take their time away but I will from now on. Lesson learned for sure.  , Hey SC MRS. Dottie said a little while ago about getting  some of that poison and poisoning around the flowers and house but I am afraid of the flowers because she has a bunch of Rose bushes.    RTR!

We put in edging and mulch around the house and planted some rose bushes.  It looks much better and I can hover the mowing deck right over top of the edging to get all of the grass.

Saw a manatee yesterday.  Those are weird critters.  That's one thing you seldom see around Tuscaloosa!

Well good morning everybody. It is nice and brisk here this morning. I can't remember it being this cool for Memorial Day weekend. Guess we will get ready to go this weekend to some of the Memorial shows for our Vets. RTR!

Preacher, I can sympoyhize with the back pain. After 7 days entailing 10 rounds of golf, I have a bad sciatic nerve. It was so bad yesterday afternoon, I had to quit after 14 holes. Golf aggravates that sucker and apparently, I aggravated the heck out of it. I'm in a hotel in LaGrange, Ga because I just couldn't make it all the way home. Lots of rest should help.

Chech, the pics are great and it sounds like y'all are having a blast. Kudos to you and the girls on the fishing. Hope the wind dies down for you. Keep sending the pics when you can. Can't wait to see the videos.

It will take me all weekend to catch up on what I missed here on the forum. Since I'm laid up, that should be no problem.

Life is good, despite the softball game loss.   

I'm fishing and tanning daily.  Wish you could all share the good fishing.  The sun, maybe not.

HUGE wins for the softball team.   

I spent yesterday fishing all day.  We went out trolling SW of the island during the morning, and caught big jacks (Horse-eye Jacks, Hardtail, and Yellow Jacks), Barracuda, Cero Mackerel, and Yellowtail Snapper.  We came home with an ice-chest full.

I fished for Bonefish (flyrod) during the afternoon, and caught 3.  That's noteworthy.  Bonefish aren't bream!

More fishing today.  Have fun, everybody!

Golf yesterday and going to play again this afternoon. The pictures are from Point Mallard Golf Course in Decatur which is my home course. It is a very nice public course owned by the City of Decatur.

The first picture is the par 4 18th which plays 420yds. The picture is taken from the fairway about 190yds from the green. The second is the par 3 13th which plays 163yds.
