Today was a great day for golf. I played Valley Landing in Courtland. It is a fairly nice course located in the middle of nowhere about 30 minutes outside of Decatur.

I played well today. I shot 81. This was the first dry course I have played this year.

Nice score, indeed. I played at Tiger Point which is the toughest course in this area and shot an 88. I still need to figure out a consistent swing with all the weight loss.

Morning gents. One more draft day, so here's to hoping that more Bama guys get drafted. I am happy so far with the Ravens draft (except Ozzie still hasn't taken a Bama guy yet    ).  I wanted to find a pacle to watch the fight tonight, but myself, mrs. cbbama, and little cbbama are going to a minor league baseball game just down the road from us tonight. Your Bowie Baysox (AA team of the Orioles) against Harrisburg (Pa). Congrats to 2 on the weight loss!! I need to follow suit. Have a great one, guys.

Thanks, CB. Enjoy the AA game. They are fun to watch. I went to a Pensacola's game Wednesday night. Their team is terrible and they got beat, but the between innings entertainment is great!

I am looking forward to it. I love all levels of baseball. And they are going to let the kids run the bases after the game, so that will be fun for little cbbama!

I can't figure out this pic.  Is this a par-3 hole, or is that a dogleg-right past the trap?  Seems odd to have a par 3 with water left and not in play, and also odd to have a dogleg away from the water.

Yesterday was fun.  We went to Ripley (Miss.), an outdoor market complete with sales of guns, tacos, llamas, chickens, tools, vegetables, and plenty of junk. 

On the way home we stopped at Lowe's to buy some nails for my new nail gun (not bought at Ripley).  I had fun blasting nails into a couple of blocks of wood.  So far I haven't nailed myself. 

Enjoy another beautiful day.  I have a final exam to give and grade today.

Prayers to Tiger Woods and Lindsey Vonn (who split up).  Never easy.

I almost added to that total yesterday.  A squirrel changed his mind about 3/4 the way across.

Looks like summer has arrived in northern Mississippi.  It will be 85 this afternoon, and the humidity has returned.  That should help our tomato plants rocket upward.  BTW, our strawberry crop has a record production this year.

Looks like all that rain paid off. Should be nice here today too. Lots of nice, warm, dry days ahead for us!

Those sure some beautiful pics. It is cool here in the mornings but it warms nicely. I have to take my 2 hummingbird feeders back today they both leak. I do enjoy watching them buzz around. lol, Well hope all has a great day. RTR!

Hummingbirds are fun to watch. Fascinating creatures.

So glad the warm weather is finally here to stay. Will have my follow-up bloodwork done tomorrow, then will prolly cookout every night through summer. 

The diet will officially be over by about 9 AM tomorrow.
