Morning, all.  Coffee

Cool and brisk this morning (42 degrees).   Ice cube

I'm definitely going to play hooky for a while today.  Too many flowers blooming to sit at a desk all day.

56 degrees here, but going up to 77. Love it! Enjoy your hooky day, Chech.

Yesterday was BEAUTIFUL, and I enjoyed it by taking a few walks, then sitting outside in the sunshine for a while.  Just a perfect spring day.

Today is EARTH DAY, so we get to watch the students parade around with green signs protesting 2's wasteful (gasoline) travel habits, Jamos' noisy tractor, and my weed eater.

But I'm eating green. That's good, right?

It's hump day and a chilly 56 degrees here, on it's way to 81. I will definitely find my way outside today!

When students are protesting, NOTHING we do is good.  By tomorrow all of those green things you eat will be good again.

Yes, you go outside today.  Play some golf.  I'm playing golf vicariously these days!

Howdy everyone, Mrs. J and I are back home after a few days in Memphis. Our children thought we should be treated for our 50th and they did a great job providing us with a few days up there. We really enjoyed seeing the old side of the city via some tours, this was something that I had been trying to make happen for quite some time. There are some very good restaurants up there and I will be returning to a stricter food diet than what I have been eating the past few days.

Hope everyone has been doing ok.

Good morning.  Coffee

Glad to hear that J and Mrs. J enjoyed their honeymoon in Memphis.  It was good enough for Elvis, good enough for BB King, so must be a good enough city!

The rains return today, and are expected to last into the celebration at Oxford.  This is the weekend of the Double-Decker Arts Festival.  Hopefully the rains will end early Saturday so we can enjoy part of it.  Hopefully!  It's the closest thing to a Pop Festival we have left.

Glad you and Mrs J survived Memphis. Obviously, you stayed on the good side of town.

Chech, the Arts Festival looks like fun. Earth Day protests followed by the Arts Festival. Oxford is a wild and crazy town!

Will be going to my @#th high school reunion in Montgomery tomorrow night. I have a bet with my buddy that's going with me that everyone will recognize him and no one will recognize me. He looks the same as he did in high school. Me? Not so much.

Good morning, everybody (including Ricky via laptop).

RAIN this afternoon and heavy rain tonight with winds gusting to 40 mph on the eve of the Oxford Double-Decker Arts Festival.  Tents will be flying and art will be cheap.  Meanwhile, I'll be the guy with the donation bucket and hammer.

Have a great day, all!

Chaac is relentless. What's he got against Mississippi?

He had a laugh on me yesterday as I was out for my run. He doused me with a renegade, pre-summer t-storm. I didn't care, as I hit the 50 lb mark. 2 lbs to go!

I'm surprised that the rain found any of you to hit.  Wow, 50 lbs!!
I've worked to lose 10, and can't imagine how hard you worked to rid 50 lbs of blubber.

Yes, Chaac returns today.  Can't decide if he loves or hates Mississippi.  He keeps returning; thunder/lightning/storms is what he does!
