Since we switched our office network over from an in-house server to the cloud I get to work from home today.

Evening gentlemen. Looks like y'all back home caught some heck weather wise today. We've received about 6 inches of snow here ourselves, on top of the inch or two left over from about a week ago. So looking forward to warmer weather.

In Decatur we had 10" of snow last week. That was nothing compared to today's ice storm. This is bad. The roads are as bad as I have ever seen them. You can bust your azz in a New York second just stepping outside. Very little of the ice has melted today. What has been churned up on the roads will freeze again tonight as the temps drop into the teens. They have already announced schools and local government offices will be closed again tomorrow. Thankfully it is going to warm up tomorrow afternoon and over the weekend. The good thing about Alabama is we will be wearing shorts in two weeks... I hope.

The ice is the worst. Driving on snow isn't too bad. Driving on ice is near impossible.

We had a 50 degree temperature drop in 24 hours.  From 77 to 27 degrees.  Roads are iced over, schools closed Thursday and Friday.   Ice cube

View out my front window this morning:

It's 14 degrees, ice everywhere, and Ole Miss is closed until noon today.
I've had it.  Heading to Florida asap.
I hate cold weather!!!

Morning all. Coffee

Ole Man Winter is still hanging around and hopefully Spring is about to make it's appearance. We dodged yet another wintry blast yesterday as North Alabama/Mississippi got the worst of the bad weather again, that area really needs a break.

Hope everyone has a better day today and prayers for those in need. Pray Cheesy

You folks have really had a bad winter. Hopefully the ground hog has had his fill and will usher in some warmer weather, I'm ready for it as well.

Our ground hog was found frozen in the front yard.  For what it's worth, there was no shadow cast by his carcass!
