Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.  It's 39 here and dropping.  Time for the fuzzy, winter slippers.

Good morning, all.  Coffee

Persimmon leaves for Jamos.

Nice and chilly, Chech. It's 53 here. Not too bad. Long range forecast is calling for another colder than normal winter in the south.  Angry

Yeah.  Don't want to get all science-nerd, but I've been following the development of an El Niño in the Pacific.  That would have meant a warmer winter, etc.  But it fell apart a couple of months ago, so we're back to the winter-vector pattern of last year.  Ugh!

Good early morning, CRS! 55 degrees and dropping, currently. The old brain is in overdrive this morning, so instead of futilely trying to go back to sleep, I decided to get up and do a little work.

I've started off 0-1 to start the pickems, so there's hope for me yet. Fast starts usually doom me, so I'm hoping.................. :Fingers crossed:

Here's a pic that J sent me last night of the eclipse. He said there is a Google app where you can take a picture of any planet, star etc, and get results such as this.

I think he said the name of the app is "Google Stars", but I haven't had a chance to download it yet. Pretty cool! E-cred to J for the pic!

Ahhhhh, 2 has mooned me first thing this morning!

Pretty cool, Jamos.  I'll have to play with that.
LF and I went to an outdoor Oxford gathering last night called, "Good Ole Boys".  All of the local politicians get 3 minutes to beg for votes while we eat.  Good drinks, good peanuts, and great bbq chicken.  Fun visiting with friends and enjoying the cool evening air!

Have a good day, all.  Coffee

Guess that's why they had it outdoors.  Frankly, I care nothing for politics, and thanks to the poor audio equipment nobody could understand much of anything anyhow -- truly.  Mostly feedback, squeaks and beeps.  I must remember to thank the audio guy!

I'm already sick of the political ads on TV, and it will only get worse when the presidential race gets going in another year.  Banging your head against the wall.

Did you play golf?
Did anybody out there enjoy that beautiful day, or were you stuck indoors?

Good morning, Alabama fans.  Coffee

It's a big day, bringing back memories of great wins over Tennessee.
