I have been presented with a moral dilemma. Little cbbama has some school work he is doing that he missed today due to being out sick. Now, I know that his poor, misguided teacher probably does not understand the ramifications of the directions for one of his assignments, but it is starkly clear to me that a Christian school should not allow their children to do the following on a worksheet (keep in mind, this is for second graders; they have to work math facts that are imprinted on cartoon fish):

"Write the sums and differences. Color the fish with an even answer orange. Color the fish with an odd answer blue."

I am considering writing a note protesting this on that "Joshua's father is morally opposed to having these two colors together on the same worksheet."

Where is Jamos? He has not been around around the last few days. I was hoping to get to see him at the game tomorrow.  Huh?

I talked to him Tuesday and he was completely worn out from his trip to N.E. He may be just catching up on work and sleep.

Howdy everyone.

It has been a busy week and it's a TGIF for me.

This football season is a little different for Mrs. J and me as we chose to let our daughter and son-in-law use our tickets. They both graduated from Bama and can't get in Tide Pride so we decided they earned the right to sit in our seats. This is the first year they have been able to travel without their 3 daughters as the girls are old enough to take care of themselves now. It's been a lot different on game day for me but thank goodness for television, I can still see the games.

I wanted to continue tailgating at that spot but the owner of it decided to charge $40 per game this year rather than the $25 per game we had been paying. I asked him why the raise in price and the reason was that it is what some of the others are charging. I checked the others in our area and they were $25 and $30 so I decided to let them enjoy their own place and find another place to party if I care to party. I get a parking space with my tickets each year and it is located at the Baptist Student Union which is very close to the Quad so why should I really didn't have to have a parking spot to see the game. It's amazing how the "American greed" plays such a role in supply and demand sometimes.

Roll Tide everyone, it's time to spank some Gators.

Good morning.  I'm spending another weekend at a gun show, so I'll be away during the in-game thread.  I have a TV, so I'll definitely watch every play (including the emergence of OJ's pass receiving -   ).

Good to hear from Jamos - bummer on the tailgating location, but glad you're home safely.

Bama57, it's you.

And now we hear that Jameis Winston is sitting out the entire Clemson game (prolly with full pay!).  Have a good day, all.

Morning Chech and CRS. Coffee

It's a very pleasant morning here in T-town, just right to do a little Gator hunting. Wink

Chech I know you are happy, a gunshow and Bama football all in the same day.

Have a great day everyone and Roll Tide!!! Cheesy

I enjoy chatting with folks at the show.  Yesterday two women came to my table, both wearing Alabama shirts.  One had a Bama necklace as well.  They were knowledgeable about knives, so we spent a half hour chatting.  They were sisters from near Moulton.  Nice folks (of course).

Roll Tide.

I have a new friend that I will have to tell you about that goes to gun and knife shows, it could be that the two of you have met before. I'm looking forward to October 4th, all we need is some good weather.
