Sounds more than reasonable, cheap.  Don't price it too cheap.  You need to pay for your expenses too.

I'd have you over here working if I lived closer.  I have lots of privet.  If I still owned my pacle in Fairhope, I could have really used your services to tear down a small concrete building and rip up the jungle that surrounded it.

Reminds me.  How much will you charge people to haul away debris (like the concrete and such garbage)?

I doubt most people will have 2 hours or less of work.  I should be able to do just fine at 65 an hour.  That's 20 for me, 5 for fuel, 20 for the tractor, 10 for the implement and 10 for the insurance.

You really think it's too cheap?

I do not have experience with this, but it sounds too low a charge.  Imagine this: people hire you to clear a lot for their new house or trailer.  They expect to pay about $400-500 to clear a half acre.  How long would it take you?

3 or 4 hours if there arent any big trees.

That's about what I think; about half a day.  Then you have to wait for the dump truck and load it.  So it takes longer for that.  Sounds like you're ballpark.

Pretty cool doing this.  Happy for you, chasing a dream.

Yes, the tractor is orange, but it's kubota orange, that jacket I am wearing is crimson.
