Yep, I love it.  Saw my first snake of the year (Blue Racer) and shot another squirrel on my bird feeder.

Surprised?  

Gunning: it depends.  I live outside the city limits, so no rules for killing rodents doing damage to your house.  They gnaw my deck and electrical wires.  Mostly I use a high-quality pellet rifle, but when there's a particularly troublesome one that escapes by climbing high into the oaks I'll use a 22 or shotgun.  Hey, don't mess with Chech.

A friend of mine (avid fisherman and outdoorsman), found a couple baby squirrels freezing to death one day a few months ago.   He and his girlfriend ended up taking them in, and they became spoiled pets.   He just recently let them go after the weather warmed up.
